Wyclef Jean's career is marked by a string of historic achievements. As a member of the Fugees, he helped create The Score, one of the best-selling hip-hop albums of all time, with over 18 million copies sold. As a solo artist, his debut album The Carnival sold nearly 9 million copies. His songwriting and production work on hits like Maria Maria, My Love Is Your Love, and Hips Don't Lie earned him three Grammy Awards and made him one of the most sought-after collaborators in pop music. In 2016 he was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame, and the government of Haiti awarded him the National Order of Honour and Merit for his humanitarian work and cultural contributions.
