Being named to Folio's 40 Most Influential People in the Magazine Industry in 2007 placed him among top publishing executives, recognizing his work at Quince Media, a Hispanic media company he founded. The Texas Press Association's 20 Under 40 honor that same year acknowledged his entrepreneurial growth with Cain Communications.
