Arnett's career is marked by a rare combination of live-action and voice acting excellence. He is one of the few actors to win a Primetime Emmy for voice-over work, taking home the award for BoJack Horseman in 2016. His portrayal of Gob Bluth on Arrested Development is widely considered one of the greatest comedic performances in television history. He has received seven Primetime Emmy nominations overall, as well as multiple Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. In 2023, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2020 he was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. His podcast SmartLess has become a cultural phenomenon, consistently ranking among the top comedy podcasts globally.
