West End Girl

West End Girl, Lily Allen's fifth studio album, arrived on 24 October 2025 via BMG, ending a seven-year hiatus and marking her first project after leaving Parlophone. Recorded over ten days in Los Angeles in December 2024 with additional sessions in February 2025, the album was primarily written by Allen and co-produced with Seb Chew, Kito, and Blue May. Blending pop with electronic, R&B, and garage influences, the twelve tracks confront the unraveling of her marriage to actor David Harbour, tackling his alleged infidelity and her emotional fallout with unflinching honesty. Critics praised the album's raw narrative, with many naming it among 2025's best and earning a Brit Award nomination for British Album of the Year. Commercially, it peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart, went Gold for 100,000 units, and hit the top ten in Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand. Lead single "Madeline" reached the UK top twenty, while album track "Pussy Palace" became her first top ten since 2014. Allen supported the release with the Lily Allen Performs West End Girl tour, which began in March 2026.[edit]
