Wes Anderson has been honored with an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and the Silver Bear for Best Director at Berlin. Two of his films, Rushmore and The Grand Budapest Hotel, have been selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry. In 2015, the University of Texas at Austin awarded him an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters. His film The Grand Budapest Hotel was ranked #1 on Rolling Stone's list of the 25 Best Movies of the 2010s, and three of his films made BBC Culture's list of the 100 greatest films since 2000.
