Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun

Suzuki Iruma is a 14-year-old human boy whose neglectful parents sell him to a demon named Sullivan. Expecting to be devoured, Iruma instead finds himself adopted as Sullivan's beloved grandson and transported to the Netherworld. Sullivan, the chairman of Babyls School for Demons, enrolls Iruma there, where he must conceal his humanity at all costs lest he be eaten. Iruma's chronic inability to refuse requests drags him into dangerous and absurd situations, but his inherent kindness gradually wins over classmates like the proud Alice Asmodeus and the chaotic Clara Valac.

Serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion since March 2017, the manga blends school-life comedy with fantasy adventure. Iruma navigates demon rank exams, festivals, and conspiracies while developing from a timid pushover into a figure who inspires loyalty even among demons. The series has been collected into tankōbon volumes by Akita Shoten under the Shōnen Champion Comics imprint, and as of December 2025, cumulative circulation exceeds 19 million copies.

The manga spawned a television anime adaptation by Bandai Namco Pictures, first airing on NHK in October 2019, with a fourth season scheduled for April 2026.
