Wandance centers on Itsuki, a young girl dealing with the recent loss of her grandfather. Among his possessions, he leaves behind a peculiar and seemingly magical dance known as the "wandance." The narrative follows Itsuki as she learns about this inherited tradition, exploring its deeper meaning and the spirit of her grandfather.

This slice-of-life manga, created by Coffee, began serialization in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine in January 2019. It delves into themes of family, tradition, personal growth, and remembrance. Through Itsuki's journey with the wandance, she comes to understand her grandfather's life and the happiness he found in dance. As of late 2025, the series has been compiled into 15 collected volumes in Japan, with an English translation also available.

The manga has garnered attention beyond its print form. An anime adaptation produced by Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics commenced airing in late 2025. Furthermore, a live-action film adaptation is scheduled for release in November 2026.
