Walter Koenig

Koenig's honors were modest in number but specific to his place in science fiction. The Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1990 recognized a television career that began in the early 1960s, and the 2012 Inkpot Award from San Diego Comic-Con honored his contributions to the genre and to comics. He was a fixture on the convention circuit for decades and received lifetime-achievement tributes from fan organizations, though he never won a competitive Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, SAG or BAFTA award.
