Walking Home with You

Mai Matsuda brings a gentle slice-of-life charm to her manga Walking Home with You, originally titled Hōkago Kitaku Biyori. The story follows two high school students navigating the quiet moments of their daily lives as they walk home together after classes end. First serialized in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine in August 2023, the series has already grown into seven collected volumes by September 2026. Each page captures the simple beauty of friendship and the subtle shifts in a relationship that develops slowly over time. The book targets fans of heartwarming romance and everyday drama, offering a refreshing break from high-stakes plots. With its focus on realistic dialogue and soft artwork, Matsuda creates an atmosphere that feels both familiar and comforting. Readers can expect a steady stream of small joys rather than grand gestures. An anime adaptation is scheduled to air in April 2027, bringing these characters to life for a wider audience.[edit]
