"200MP Zeiss telephoto and 6510mAh battery redefine flagship imaging"
Rating
5/5
Overview
Vivo launched the X300 Pro on October 13, 2025, as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations. The phone landed in China four days later and rolled out globally by the end of that month. It sits between the standard X300 and the Ultra, but for most people it's the sweet spot, you get the 200MP telephoto from the Ultra in a body that's actually comfortable to hold.
The camera system is the main event. Vivo partnered with Zeiss on optics and color science, and the results speak for themselves. The 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPB sensor on the telephoto lens captures 3.5x optical zoom images with incredible detail, even in low light. You can also attach a telephoto extender lens (sold separately) for even more reach, a feature that used to be exclusive to the Ultra. The main 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor handles everyday shots with natural bokeh and fast autofocus. Video shooters get 4K at 120fps in Dolby Vision HDR and 10-bit Log recording, which gives serious color grading flexibility in post.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on TSMC's 3nm process, delivers flagship performance. Antutu scores have hit 4 million, putting it ahead of most competitors in raw benchmarks. The 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display peaks at 4500 nits, making it readable in direct sunlight, and supports HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision. Battery life is a standout too, the Chinese model packs a 6510 mAh cell with 90W wired charging and 40W wireless. European units get a 5440 mAh battery due to regulatory limits, but that's still class-leading. Vivo promises 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches, which is better than most Android OEMs.
