Tommy Wirkola is back in the director's chair for the sequel to 2022's Violent Night, a film that turned Santa Claus into a sledgehammer-wielding action hero. David Harbour returns as the grizzled, beer-loving Kris Kringle, now grappling with the fallout of his last Christmas massacre. Kristen Bell steps in as Mrs. Claus, bringing a new dynamic to the North Pole. The cast expands with Daniela Melchior, Jared Harris as a mysterious Crime Lord, Joe Pantoliano, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Santa Claus is having a crisis of faith. A year after the bloody events at the Lightstone mansion, he finds himself disillusioned with humanity's greed and selfishness. On Christmas Eve, a ruthless Crime Lord played by Jared Harris takes over a crumbling New Jersey mall. Once a beloved holiday destination, the mall is now scheduled for demolition. The Crime Lord and his crew, including Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Andrew Bachelor, plan a massive heist using the mall as their base. But the Crime Lord has a personal vendetta against Christmas itself, seeing the holiday as a symbol of everything wrong with modern society.

Santa, cut off from the North Pole after a sleigh malfunction, finds himself stranded in the mall. His magic is unreliable, forcing him to rely on his wits and brutal combat skills. Armed with his signature sledgehammer and improvised weapons from holiday decorations and toys, Santa must navigate the mall's abandoned stores and food courts while hunting down the Crime Lord's forces. Along the way, he teams up with Ashton Cressman (Daniela Melchior), a resourceful mall employee who becomes an unlikely ally. Joe Pantoliano appears as a mysterious figure whose allegiances remain unclear.
