Viddal Riley

Viddal Ethan Danso Riley is an English professional boxer, rapper, and internet personality based in London. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, he fights out of the UK's boxing capital and has established himself as a dominant force in the cruiserweight division. As of 2026, Riley holds the European Cruiserweight title, a position he secured in April 2026 after previously capturing the British title.

Known by his nickname The Rilest, Viddal blends the grit of a professional athlete with the flair of a social media influencer. He transitioned from a promising amateur career to the pros following a silver medal win at the 2013 European Junior Championships. His unique background allows him to engage audiences through multiple platforms, combining fight highlights, music releases, and motivational content. [edit]

Viddal grew up in Tottenham, a district in North London known for producing several notable British fighters. Born on July 7, 1997, he developed an early interest in combat sports while navigating life in the city. Before stepping into the professional ring, he spent years honing his skills as an amateur boxer. His dedication paid off quickly when he reached the international stage as a junior competitor.

In 2013, the young fighter achieved a significant milestone by winning a silver medal at the European Junior Championships. This accomplishment validated his potential and set the trajectory for his future in the sport. While training for these titles, Viddal also cultivated a presence online. He began sharing snippets of his life and training routines, building a small but engaged audience that would later become crucial to his brand.

His dual identity as a creator and an athlete took shape during these formative years. He didn't just rely on the gym; he used digital tools to document his journey. This early experimentation with content creation laid the groundwork for his current status as a multi-hyphenate talent. By the time he turned professional, he had already proven his worth in the amateur ranks and possessed a unique ability to connect with fans outside the traditional boxing sphere. [edit]

Riley turned professional shortly after his amateur success, rapidly climbing the rankings in the cruiserweight division. His undefeated record stands at 14 wins, 0 losses, and 0 draws, with 7 knockouts. A major turning point came in 2025 when he captured the British Cruiserweight title, marking his entry into the elite tier of national champions.

He held the British belt until April 2026, when he expanded his horizons by winning the European Cruiserweight title. This victory cemented his status as a top contender on the continent. In late 2026, he faced Mateusz Masternak, a former European title challenger, securing a career-best scalp against a tough opponent.

Looking ahead, Riley scheduled a high-profile defense of his European title against French challenger Seydi Coupe. The bout was set for November 14, 2026, in London and broadcast live on DAZN. This fight represents a critical step toward world title contention, showcasing his growth from a local prospect to an international figure. [edit]

Riley projects a persona that merges the discipline of a fighter with the charisma of a modern influencer. Media outlets describe him as having a 'no-nonsense' attitude inside the ring while remaining approachable and engaging off it. His promotional style often incorporates hip-hop culture, distinguishing him from traditional boxers.

His content tone is consistently motivational, emphasizing hard work, discipline, and the journey from internet fame to athletic excellence. He leverages his platform to share behind-the-scenes training footage, creating a transparent relationship with his audience that builds trust and loyalty. [edit]

research by the iFANN Editorial Team puts Viddal Riley's fortune at around $900,000 as of 2026. This estimate reflects his earnings from professional boxing purses, social media influence, and music ventures. His primary income source comes from fight purses, particularly following his title wins in the British and European divisions.

Beyond the ring, Riley monetizes his massive digital footprint. With over 480,000 followers on Instagram and a robust YouTube channel, he generates revenue through brand partnerships and content monetization. His rap career adds a secondary stream, though boxing remains the financial engine. The volatility of boxing incomes means these figures fluctuate with each bout, but his recent title defenses have significantly boosted his liquid assets compared to pre-2025 levels. [edit]
