Vicki Cheung's achievements are rooted in her technical leadership at some of the most influential technology companies of the 2010s and 2020s. As a founding engineer at OpenAI, she helped build the infrastructure that enabled groundbreaking AI research, including the early development of large language models. At Duolingo, she was instrumental in scaling the platform from a small research project to a global language-learning service used by millions. Her work at Lyft brought reliability engineering practices to machine learning systems in production. As co-founder and CTO of Gantry, she is helping define the emerging field of ML observability, providing tools that allow companies to monitor and improve their AI systems in real-world deployment.
