Vasilije Adžić was born on May 12, 2006, in Nikšić, a city in central Montenegro known for producing many talented athletes. Growing up in the Balkans, football was not just a hobby but a way of life for many children in his community. While specific details about his early schooling remain private, typical for young players in elite academies, it is clear that his talent was evident from a very young age. He began playing organized football in local Montenegrin clubs before catching the attention of scouts looking for promising young midfielders.

The pivotal moment in his early life came when he moved from Montenegro to Italy to join the prestigious Juventus youth system. This move is common for top-tier Balkan talents seeking development in one of Europe's most competitive environments. At Juventus, Adžić did not waste time; he quickly rose through the ranks of their Primavera (U19) team. His technical skills, vision, and work ethic set him apart from his peers, leading to regular call-ups to the senior training squad well before his official debut. By the 2025–2026 season, he had transitioned from a youth prospect to a key figure in the club's plans, setting the stage for his breakthrough into first-team action. [edit]

Adžić's senior career took off during the 2025–2026 season when he made his official debut for Juventus. In a September 2026 interview, he recalled the emotional weight of that moment, noting that his family was in tears watching him play. That same season, he scored a memorable goal against Inter Milan, a match he described as something that would stay in his heart forever. Despite these highlights, he found himself needing more consistent playing time to fully develop his game.

In August 2026, the situation changed dramatically when he moved to Sassuolo on a loan deal with an option to buy. The transfer was facilitated by manager Luciano Spalletti and recommended by former teammate Mijat Gaćinović. Upon arriving at Sassuolo, Adžić wasted no time making an impact. He scored on his debut and quickly became a pivotal figure in the team's midfield. The defining moment of his early career arrived on September 13, 2026, when he scored a last-minute winner in the 94th minute against Juventus. This dramatic goal secured a 3-2 victory for Sassuolo and effectively 'haunted' his parent club. Following the match, he refused to commit to returning to Juventus immediately, signaling his desire to continue thriving at Sassuolo.

His international career has also seen significant success. On October 2, 2026, he scored early in a crucial Euro qualifier against Latvia in Riga, opening the scoring in the third minute and helping Montenegro secure a vital win. Former Juventus star Mirko Vučinić praised him as a 'pearl of the Baltics,' highlighting his growing importance to the national team. [edit]

Adžić projects an image of a humble yet confident young athlete. Media outlets describe him as a 'prodigy' and a 'monster' for Montenegro, emphasizing his maturity beyond his years. He is known for respecting his roots while maintaining an ambitious drive to succeed. His social media presence is professional and concise, focusing primarily on goals and matches. Headlines often highlight his emotional connection to his family and his ability to deliver under pressure, painting him as a reliable and charismatic figure in Italian football. [edit]

As of 2026, iFANN currently estimates Vasilije Adžić's net worth at approximately $2.5 million. This figure reflects his rapid rise from a youth prospect to a Serie A starter, driven primarily by his salary at Juventus and subsequent earnings at Sassuolo. Before his loan move. His contract with Juventus was set to expire in June 2027, but the loan deal includes an option to buy estimated at €1.7 million, which could significantly boost his financial profile if exercised.

Secondary income streams likely include appearance fees, local Montenegrin endorsements, and potential shares of the buy-out clause. While real estate holdings are not publicly documented, his earnings trajectory suggests he is already accumulating wealth at a rate comparable to established Serie A talents. The combination of his high-profile performances and the lucrative nature of modern football contracts positions him for further financial growth in the coming years. [edit]
