Records
Valerie Adams' list of achievements is extraordinary. She is the first woman ever to win four consecutive individual titles at the IAAF World Championships, and one of only three athletes in history to hold world titles at youth, junior, and senior levels simultaneously. Her 56-competition winning streak is the longest in shot put history, a mark of her relentless dominance. She has been honoured with the highest civilian awards in New Zealand, and her legacy as one of the greatest throwers of all time is firmly established.
