UY Scuti

Young Thug returned to the mainstream with his fourth studio album, UY Scuti, released on September 26, 2025. The project arrives via Young Stoner Life Records, Atlantic Records, and 300 Entertainment as his first full-length body of work following his release from prison in late October 2024. The title references a red supergiant star located roughly 5,900 light-years away in the constellation Scutum, known for being one of the largest stars discovered in the universe.

The standard edition spans 18 tracks that blend hard-hitting trap beats with the artist's signature melodic experimentation. Production duties included heavy contributions from industry titans Metro Boomin and Southside. The tracklist features high-profile guest appearances from Travis Scott, Future, Cardi B, and 21 Savage. A deluxe version titled UY Scuti: Supernova Edition followed shortly after, adding seven new songs including a final tribute track dedicated to the late rapper Lil Keed.

Promotion began earlier in the year with the lead single "Money on Money," which peaked at number 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2025. Another track, "Miss My Dogs," gained traction via an Instagram preview before its official streaming debut in September. Upon release, the album received mixed critical reception; while some critics praised the emotional weight of the project and the expanded deluxe version, others criticized the cover art and the intro track titled "Ninja."
