Under Doctor

Under Doctor is a Japanese manga series created by Kyō Tanimoto, serialized weekly in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since January 2026. The story follows Haiji Kino, a former assassin known as "Under Doctor Haiji" who has abandoned his violent past to practice medicine in lawless zones. Haiji operates where standard healthcare systems have failed, treating gang members and disaster victims while using his lethal skills to survive threats.

The first collected volume hit shelves on June 4, 2026, spanning 192 pages. Readers encounter a narrative that blends surgical precision with high-stakes combat choreography. Haiji navigates moral conflicts where medical ethics collide with the brutal demands of the underworld, all while maintaining a reputation that warns people away unless they need saving.

Digital editions are available globally through VIZ Media's Shonen Jump app and Shueisha's MANGA Plus service. The series has generated active discussion among fans regarding its portrayal of vigilante medicine and systemic corruption within the healthcare industry. [edit]
