Etorouji Shiono crafted a dark tale of vengeance in Übel Blatt, a seinen manga that ran for nearly fifteen years. The story began in Young Gangan in December 2004 before moving to Monthly Big Gangan, where it concluded in March 2019 after generating twenty-four collected volumes published by Square Enix. Set against a medieval fantasy backdrop, the narrative centers on Köinzell, a warrior driven by a burning desire to punish those who betrayed and murdered him two decades ago.
