Tuv

There is a particular kind of YouTube comfort that only Tuv delivers. The Hawthorne, California creator, born March 19, 2002 (Famous Birthdays), has spent over a decade turning true crime, internet mysteries, and conspiracy rabbit holes into calm, sleep-friendly documentaries. His channel has grown past 2.4 million subscribers, and his signature move is unmistakable: long, level-voiced deep dives his audience genuinely falls asleep to.

Off YouTube he records music under the same name on Spotify (Spotify), and his own video descriptions point fans to a second channel and link hub (solo.to/tuv). He signs his P.O. box as Bertie Ruiz, the name his longtime viewers know him by.[edit]

Tuv uploaded his first YouTube video in July 2013 (Famous Birthdays), starting out at age 11 from his hometown of Hawthorne, California. The early uploads were rough, but the instincts were already there: strange stories, mini-documentary formats, and a fascination with the macabre.

He built the channel slowly through his teens, learning editing and storytelling in public, one upload at a time. No label, no push, no overnight break. By the time the true-crime boom arrived, he had years of practice banked and a voice his audience already trusted.[edit]

Consistency did it. Upload after upload, Tuv grew the channel past 2.4 million subscribers (Famous Birthdays). One of his signature pieces, a discussion of YouTubers who became criminals, passed a million views, and his darker conspiracy videos remain his most-watched work.

The sleep-aid angle became the trademark: long videos, calm delivery, made to be listened to in bed. Alongside the documentaries he releases original music on Spotify under the name Tuv (Spotify) and runs a second channel, Tuvington123 (YouTube). No mainstream crossover chasing, no rebrand. Just the niche, served nightly.[edit]

Calm voice, dark subjects, zero sensationalism. That is the whole brand, and it works because it is real. Tuv leans into moody true-crime aesthetics without ever performing outrage, and fans repay him with unusual loyalty: comment sections full of people comparing notes on cases and confessing they cannot sleep without a video playing.

He rarely posts personal updates, which keeps the mystique intact. The Weeknd song choice on a January 2022 TikTok (Famous Birthdays) counts as a rare glimpse of taste outside the grim feed.[edit]

iFANN-only numbers, read from live data: YouTube: 2,460,000 subscribers, 309,181,508 views (fetched 2026-10-14). No Last.fm listening data is on record for this creator. Popularity rank: #41,942 overall, #31,662 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). He holds no placement in iFANN's Global Fame Engine Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list, a reminder that the iFAMOUS rankings reward breadth while Tuv's strength is depth: a late-night audience that shows up every single upload.[edit]

His video on YouTubers who became criminals passed a million views and remains his signature piece (Famous Birthdays). His darker conspiracy uploads consistently outperform the rest of his catalog. He signs his channel P.O. box as Bertie Ruiz, the name longtime viewers use for him. In January 2022 he posted a TikTok set to The Weeknd's "Hardest to Love" (Famous Birthdays). His audience famously uses his long videos as a sleep aid, a habit he programs for with late-night uploads and marathon runtimes.[edit]

Tuv was born and raised in Hawthorne, California, and keeps his family life private. No parent, sibling, or household detail is published. One personal loss is on record: his pet cat Larry died in 2018 (Famous Birthdays). No partner has been confirmed by Tuv or a credible outlet.[edit]

In January 2022 he posted a TikTok featuring The Weeknd's "Hardest to Love" (Famous Birthdays). No collaboration with another YouTuber is confirmed on record; his videos reference internet personalities as subjects rather than guests.[edit]

No partner, marriage, or dating history is confirmed by Tuv or a credible outlet. His online presence is content-only, with no relationship announcements on record.[edit]

No credible outlet has published a verified net worth figure for Tuv. The $1 million estimates circulating on auto-generated bio sites are unverified and dropped from this page. His income streams are not disclosed; like most independent YouTubers of his scale, plausible sources include ad revenue, memberships, and sponsorships, plus streaming royalties from his Spotify releases (Spotify).[edit]
