Tsunku

Mitsuo Terada, born October 29, 1968 in Higashiōsaka-shi, goes by the stage name Tsunku. He started his career as the lead singer for the rock band Sharam Q, bringing a distinct energy to the Japanese music scene before shifting focus to production. That pivot changed the landscape of J-pop forever. Terada built an empire centered on Hello! Project, acting as the primary creative force behind its most successful acts.
