TripleS is currently active with 20 members, still recruiting to reach the full 24. They are known for their decentralized idol system, where fans vote on sub-units and activities through blockchain-based NFT Objekt cards. The group has earned multiple rookie awards and topped Billboard's World Albums chart with their debut EP Assemble and their first studio album ASSEMBLE24. Their music ranges from dreamy synth-pop to edgier rock and electronic sounds, with hits like "Rising" and "Girls Never Die." The story of TripleS begins with Jaden Jeong, the Modhaus CEO who previously created LOONA. In July 2021, the first member Yoon SeoYeon was revealed through the daily reality show SIGNAL. Over the next year, members were introduced one by one, each with their own "S" power. The group's first sub-unit, Acid Angel from Asia (AAA), debuted on October 28, 2022, with the EP Access and single "Generation." A second sub-unit, +(KR)ystal Eyes, followed on April 14, 2023, with AESTHETIC and "Cherry Talk." The full group officially debuted on February 13, 2023, with the EP Assemble and its lead single "Rising," marking the start of the decentralized idol experiment.[edit]

TripleS's music started with bright, youthful synth-pop on Assemble, exemplified by the dreamy "Rising." Sub-units explored distinct sounds: AAA brought fresh teen-crush energy, while +(KR)ystal Eyes leaned into elegant pop. With ASSEMBLE24 in 2024, the group shifted toward darker, edgier territory, incorporating rock and electronic elements on "Girls Never Die." The group's multinational lineup (Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan) promotes diversity in K-pop. WAV (pronounced "wave") is the official fandom name. Fans use the Objekt Light, a hexagonal lightstick with interchangeable face plates representing each member. The fan color is a pastel gradient. WAV participates in "Gravity" voting to decide sub-units, song choices, and member rotations. Notable fan projects include funding a Times Square billboard for the group's first anniversary in 2024. The name TripleS stands for "Super," "Star," and "System." Each member has a designated "S" power, like SeoYeon's "Super Power of Leadership." The Objekt NFT system uses blockchain to create unique digital photocards. Modhaus CEO Jaden Jeong previously created LOONA, which also had a pre-debut member reveal project. The daily reality show SIGNAL has aired over 1,000 episodes since 2021. Members live together in a dorm called "the Haus."
