Tony Tony Chopper

Chopper was born on Drum Island with a distinctive blue nose, which caused his reindeer herd to ostracize him. After accidentally eating the Hito Hito no Mi, a Devil Fruit that grants human intelligence and speech, he was rejected by both reindeer and humans, who saw him as a monster. Alone and confused, he encountered Dr. Hiriluk, a eccentric but kind-hearted quack doctor who accepted him unconditionally and taught him the principles of medicine. Hiriluk's dream was to cure all diseases, and he inspired Chopper to become a doctor. When Hiriluk was tricked by the tyrannical King Wapol and later sacrificed himself in a explosion to protect the island's people, Chopper was devastated. On Fish-Man Island, he creates an antidote for a deadly poison, showcasing his medical expertise. During the Whole Cake Island arc, he helps Luffy recover from poison and later in Wano Country, he plays a key role in developing a cure for the deadly plague created by Kaido's forces.
