Tom Hamilton's greatest achievement is his role as a founding member and co-writer of one of the best-selling rock bands of all time. His bass riff on Sweet Emotion is one of the most recognizable in rock history. He co-wrote the Grammy-winning Janie's Got a Gun, a song that addressed child abuse and became a cultural touchstone.
