Thomas Lennon

Lennon's record is a working writer's record rather than an awards shelf. The Night at the Museum trilogy he co-wrote with Robert Ben Garant took more than $1.3 billion worldwide, which is a rare result for a comedy writing team, and Reno 911! ran six seasons on Comedy Central before returning years later for a revival. The 2012 book Writing Movies for Fun and Profit made the New York Times bestseller list, giving him a credential that most screenwriters never pick up. None of this comes with a statuette, and he has never presented it as though it should.
