Thelonious Stokes

Thelonious Stokes has achieved significant recognition as an emerging artist. He is the first African American graduate of the Florence Academy of Art, a historic milestone for the institution. His selection for the CIRCA PRIZE 2025 places him among international contemporary artists. His viral performances at Trump Tower and O Block have drawn widespread media attention, amplifying his mission to equalize access to the art world. As founder of the Black Academy of Art, he is building infrastructure for future generations of Black artists.
