The Sin: Vanish

When Enhypen dropped The Sin: Vanish on January 16, 2026, they closed a chapter. This seventh EP, released through Belift Lab, is their final record as a seven-piece, and the weight of that ending hangs over every track. Heeseung took a central role in shaping the album, and the result is a mature, restless collection that pushes their signature vampire lore into darker, more personal territory.

The 11-track EP shifts between dark synth-pop and aggressive hip-hop, with lead single "Knife" driving on sharp percussion and a vocal performance that feels lived-in. The song even nods to an old Vine meme, repeating "It's a knife, knife, knife, knife" with a wink. Elsewhere, "Echoes" and "Fade" stretch the group's range, from brooding ballads to high-energy anthems. It's the sound of a band testing its own limits, knowing the lineup is about to change.

Conceptually, the album is their most immersive work yet. The physical versions, FORBIDDEN, AFTERLIGHT, and STORM, each tell the story from a different perspective, with the FORBIDDEN edition representing the media's point of view in the central chase narrative. A virtual listening party covered by Vogue had press attendees buzzing, and Billboard called it the group's most narratively ambitious release.
