The Glory

Moon Dong-eun spent years surviving the aftermath of brutal bullying in high school, a trauma that defined her adolescence and scarred her adulthood. Now an adult, she returns to the scene of her pain not as a victim, but as a teacher with a meticulously crafted plan to dismantle the lives of those who destroyed her. This dark revenge drama from Netflix arrives from writer Kim Eun-sook and director An Gil-ho, marking a return to form for the creator behind some of South Korea's most popular television hits. Song Hye-kyo leads the cast as the stoic protagonist Moon Dong-eun, while Lee Do-hyun plays Joo Yeo-jeong, a former classmate whose own history intersects with the main conflict. The series premiered on December 30, 2022, concluding its sixteen-episode run in March 2023. Audiences responded strongly to the show's unflinching look at systemic abuse and the psychological toll of waiting for justice. With an 8.457 rating from nearly a thousand voters, The Glory quickly became a global conversation starter about the nature of retribution.[edit]
