Reviewers have highlighted the fresh take on the isekai formula, especially the protagonist's reliance on deception rather than raw power. The art style, with detailed character designs and dynamic action sequences, has also earned praise. Some critics note the series leans on familiar tropes like an overpowered protagonist and harem-like dynamics, which might feel stale to genre veterans. Still, the series built a loyal following, cracking the top 50 of Kadokawa's digital manga charts during its initial run.

An anime adaptation has been announced, but no studio, cast, or release date has been confirmed as of early 2025. The series has generated fan art and merchandise, particularly in Japan and Taiwan.
