The Failure at God School
"Kami-sama Gakkō no Ochikobore"
Natsu Hyuuga
Overview
In a world where individuals possessing mysterious powers, known as "Himiko," can ascend to the status of "god," the protagonist Nagi finds herself in a desperate situation. Her family's shrine has fallen into disuse following her grandmother's passing, and its divinity has waned. With her brother, a shut-in Himiko, seemingly unable to fill the void, Nagi seeks a divine solution. Her quest leads her to a prestigious magic academy in Japan, an institution dedicated to training aspiring gods.
Despite appearing to lack any supernatural abilities herself, Nagi is admitted to this sacred academy. Here, she must navigate academic pressures and challenging trials, including a wilderness survival camp that tests the mettle of students equipped with extraordinary powers. The story delves into themes of academic struggle, the true nature of divine power, and the universal difficulty of fitting in, even within a supernatural environment.
