That Should Be Me

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber released "That Should Be Me" as the closing track on his debut studio album, My World 2.0, which dropped on March 19, 2010. The song was co-written by Bieber with Luke Boyd, Nasri Atweh, and Adam Messinger, the latter two from the production team The Messengers. An orchestral ballad, it finds Bieber playing the scorned ex-lover, lamenting a lost relationship. Critics gave the track positive reviews, and it charted at number ninety-two on the Billboard Hot 100 after the album's release. Later that year, Bieber collaborated with American country band Rascal Flatts on a remix, which appeared on his second remix album, Never Say Never: The Remixes, tied to his 3D concert documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.
