Thais Bilenky

Thais Bilenky stands as a sharp voice in Brazilian political journalism, tracing her roots back to Brazil before establishing herself through rigorous reporting and innovative podcasting. A graduate of the University of São Paulo, she built a career that moved from traditional print media into the dynamic world of digital audio. Her journey took her far beyond local borders when she served as an international correspondent for Folha de S.Paulo based in New York, where she covered global events with a focus on how they impacted domestic politics. She later joined the staff of Piauí magazine, contributing in-depth features that dissected the inner workings of power structures. Bilenky transitioned seamlessly into the podcasting sphere, creating content that resonates with audiences seeking clarity on government affairs. She launched two distinct series: Alexandre, which explores the life of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and Lira: os Atalhos do Poder, a deep dive into the machinations of legislative politics. These projects showcased her ability to break down dense political narratives into engaging stories. Currently, she works as a columnist for UOL while co-hosting the popular program A Hora alongside José Roberto de Toledo. Her work spans years of reporting across major publications and multiple successful audio platforms, cementing her reputation as a trusted analyst of current events.[edit]
