The story follows a paraplegic war veteran who bonds with a sentient, tank-like wheelchair, leading to a high-octane blend of action and dark humor. The narrative centers on a young girl and her comatose brother, an assassin confined to a wheelchair. They traverse a dystopian landscape where genetic doping is widespread, and the sister, Shizuka, takes on the most dangerous of assassin jobs, though she is not the one doing the killing. The series is described as an ultra-violent path to recovery, blending dark humor with visceral action.

An anime television series adaptation produced by Polygon Pictures is set to premiere on October 4, 2026. Directed by Tadahiro Yoshihira, known for Drifting Dragons, the anime features theme songs by SiM and Daoko.
