Take That hold the record for the most UK number-one albums by a boy band, with eight chart-topping studio albums. They are one of the few acts to have achieved number-one albums in three different decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s). Their Progress Live tour was the highest-grossing tour of 2011 globally and the highest-grossing ever by a UK band at that time, selling over 1.3 million tickets. They have sold over 45 million records worldwide. The group has been honoured with a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, induction into the UK Music Hall of Fame, and a star on the Manchester Walk of Fame. Gary Barlow received an OBE for services to music and charity, and Mark Owen received an MBE for charitable services.
