Edwards stands out as one of the most decorated linebackers of his generation. Winning the Butkus Award in 2018 placed him among the elite in college football history, recognizing his dominance in a conference known for physical defenses. His transition to the NFL was equally successful, as he became the first Bear to earn First-Team All-Pro honors since 2015, a testament to his immediate impact. His consistency is perhaps his greatest accolade. Starting every game since his rookie year and maintaining high tackle numbers despite shoulder injuries and roster turnover demonstrates a level of durability and reliability that few peers can match. These achievements have cemented his status as a cornerstone of the Bears' defense.

AwardsEdwards has accumulated a impressive list of honors throughout his career.
