Stuart David

Stuart David's legacy is defined by his dual impact on the indie music and literary scenes. He co-founded one of the most influential British indie bands of the 1990s and later carved out a respected career as a novelist. His memoir In the All-Night Cafe stands as a key text for understanding the early days of Belle and Sebastian. While he may not hold trophies from major ceremonies, his influence on the Glasgow music scene and his contribution to contemporary indie literature are widely acknowledged by critics and fans alike.
