Still Over It

Released on November 5, 2021, Still Over It stands as the second studio album by American R&B singer Summer Walker. Distributed through her own imprint Love Renaissance and Interscope Records, the project arrived with 19 tracks that blend contemporary R&B, neo-soul, and trap influences. Walker structured the record as a chronological narrative spanning from August 4, 2019 to October 7, 2021, detailing her relationship with producer London on da Track and her subsequent pregnancy. Guest appearances from Cardi B, SZA, Ari Lennox, and Pharrell Williams add texture to this deeply personal story without overshadowing the lead singer's raw vocals.

Critics immediately praised the record for its tight cohesiveness and unflinching honesty, often calling it her strongest work yet. Commercially, the album shattered expectations by becoming the most-streamed album in a single day by a female artist on Apple Music at the time of its release. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, marking Walker's first chart-topper and the highest position for a female R&B act since Beyoncé's Lemonade. The lead single, "Ex for a Reason" featuring JT, dropped earlier in October to build anticipation for the full listening experience. [edit]
