Stewart Gilligan Griffin is the third child of Peter and Lois Griffin, born in Quahog, Rhode Island. From his earliest days, Stewie displayed an intellect far beyond his years, along with a refined British accent that he adopted after watching a Rex Harrison film. His nursery became a laboratory where he built advanced weaponry and plotted global domination. He speaks with a posh British accent and uses sophisticated vocabulary, often addressing his teddy bear Rupert as a confidant. Despite his villainous ambitions, he has a vulnerable side, craving affection from his father Peter and developing a deep friendship with the family dog Brian. Over the series, he has become more eccentric and flamboyant, displaying a love for fashion, musical theater, and pop culture. The direct-to-video film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story (2005) marked a turning point, exploring his future self and his relationship with Brian. The two-part episode "Stewie Kills Lois" / "Lois Kills Stewie" (2007) saw him actually succeed in murdering his mother, only for the timeline to be reset. After that, his matricidal obsession faded, and he became more of a sidekick to Brian, embarking on adventures through time and space. Episodes like "Brian and Stewie" (2010) showcased their bond, with Stewie revealing his fear of being alone.
