Records
Steve Toussaint's career is marked by steady excellence and a historic breakthrough. After decades of respected work in British television, he achieved global recognition with his role in House of the Dragon, becoming one of the most prominent Black actors in fantasy television. His performance in Steve McQueen's Small Axe: Red, White and Blue earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award alongside an outstanding ensemble cast. Toussaint has been honoured by his hometown with a Special Recognition Award from the Birmingham Film Festival and received the RTS Midlands Outstanding Contribution to Television Award. He is also a patron of the Birmingham Youth Theatre, mentoring young actors from disadvantaged backgrounds.
