Stefan Edberg's career is celebrated for its grace and consistency. He was the last great serve-and-volleyer to dominate the sport, and his ability to hold the No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles simultaneously is a rare feat. His sportsmanship was so exemplary that the ATP named an award after him. He remains a beloved figure in tennis history.

AwardsStefan Edberg won six Grand Slam singles titles and three doubles titles. He was named ITF World Champion in 1990 and 1991, and ATP Player of the Year in those same years. He also received the ATP Sportsmanship Award multiple times, an honor later renamed in his honor.
