Records

Solbakken is one of the most decorated Norwegian managers in history. His eight Danish Superliga titles with FC Copenhagen make him the most successful manager in the club's history. He was the first Norwegian coach to lead a Danish club to the Champions League group stage. Qualifying Norway for the 2026 World Cup ended a 28-year drought and cemented his status as a national hero.

AwardsSolbakken won the Norwegian Manager of the Year award in 2004 and 2010, and was named Norwegian Midfielder of the Year in 1995. As a manager, he won eight Danish Superliga titles and three Danish Cups with FC Copenhagen.
