Feyenoord Rotterdam

Feyenoord Rotterdam is a prominent Dutch professional football club, established on July 19, 1908, and based in Rotterdam. The club competes in the Eredivisie, the highest tier of Dutch football, and is one of the nation's most successful and widely supported teams.

Feyenoord's journey began on July 19, 1908, as a merger of various smaller Rotterdam clubs. Initially known as Celeritas, then Wilhelmina, and later Feijenoord, the club adopted its current name, Feyenoord Rotterdam, in 1978. Their home ground, Stadion Feijenoord, known as 'De Kuip,' opened in 1937 and has been central to the club's identity.
