Speed Darlington

Speed Darlington's record is not measured in trophies. It is measured in virality. His 2017 single "Bangdadadang!" became a Nigerian social media phenomenon, and he turned that meme into a decade-long career of singles, freestyles and, in 2026, celebrity boxing. No major awards, Hall of Fame inductions or magazine covers are documented, but his ability to stay in the conversation for nearly ten years without a traditional hit machine behind him is its own kind of achievement.
