Soyou's collaboration 'Some' set a Guinness World Record for the longest-running number-one song on the Gaon Digital Chart in 2014, holding the top spot for five consecutive weeks. She has been recognized by Billboard Korea as one of the top 10 K-pop soloists to watch in 2017. Her OST 'Aloha' became one of the most-streamed Korean OSTs, cementing her reputation as a leading vocalist in the industry. She received a commendation at the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards as part of SISTAR in 2013.

AwardsSoyou has won several individual awards for her solo work. Her collaboration 'Some' with Junggigo won Song of the Year at the 2014 Melon Music Awards, Best R&B/Soul at the same ceremony, and Best Collaboration at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
