Te Olvido (La La)

Benny Blanco released Te Olvido (La La) on July 31, 2026, bringing together Selena Gomez and Becky G for a cumbia-infused Latin pop track. The song blends English and Spanish lyrics to tell a story about leaving a toxic relationship behind without looking back. Benny Blanco produced the record, merging traditional Mexican rhythms with modern pop structures to create a sound that works in both clubs and casual listening settings.

The collaboration highlights the chemistry between the three artists as they navigate themes of empowerment and moving forward. Critics noted how the track bridges language barriers through its infectious groove rather than relying on complex production tricks. Selena Gomez returned to singing primarily in Spanish for this project, while Becky G brought her signature rhythmic delivery to the verses. The release coincided with a summer promotional push that emphasized the cultural connection between American pop and Latin music traditions. [edit]
