Perfect Night

Released through Source Music on October 27, 2023, Perfect Night marked a distinct shift for the five-member group as their first single recorded entirely in English. The track arrived outside the standard album cycle to serve as an official tie-in with Blizzard Entertainment's video game Overwatch 2, aiming to reach gamers who might not otherwise follow K-pop releases.

Musically the song blends synth-pop textures with soft rock influences, relying on driving synthesizers and a rhythmic bassline to support a danceable tempo. Lyrics focus on carefree escapism rather than the themes of defiance or anxiety found in earlier hits like "Fearless" or "Antifragile." Lines such as "Me and my girlies, we gon' party 'til it's early" set a tone of celebration that aligns with the song's function as a promotional piece for in-game events and cosmetic items.

Commercially this release became the group's most successful single at the time of its launch. It reached number one on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart, where it remained at the summit for six non-consecutive weeks across late 2023 and early 2024. This achievement represented the group's first number-one hit on that specific chart. International markets also responded strongly, with the track topping charts in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan while securing top ten placements in Japan, Malaysia, and New Zealand. [edit]
