Dangerous Summer

Yeat released his seventh extended play, Dangerous Summer, on August 1, 2025. The project arrived through a partnership between his own labels, Lyfestyle Corporation and Field Trip Recordings, alongside Capitol Records. Eleven tracks populate the runtime, blending the artist's signature rage rap and trap styles with a more introspective focus on personal growth and mental clarity.

This release marks a deliberate shift from the chaotic energy of his earlier discography toward tighter songwriting. Critics described the EP as a tantalizing look at the underground wunderkind, while Apple Music praised its thematic depth regarding well-being. Digital buyers could purchase uncompressed lossless WAV files directly from Yeat's official store for $7.99.

The visual identity of the project was crafted with a gritty, filmic aesthetic. Harmony Korine photographed the cover art to capture a raw, underground quality similar to his work on Gummo and Spring Breakers. The title I'm Yeat serves as the lead single for the promotion. [edit]
