Sofia Christine Wylie was born on January 7, 2004, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her early life was defined by a deep immersion in dance; she started dancing at a young age and competed in various dance competitions across the United States. At age 13, she moved to Los Angeles with her family to pursue a professional career in entertainment. Before her screen debut, she honed her craft in theater and dance, often citing her background in performance as the foundation for her acting style. She attended high school while balancing a demanding production schedule, demonstrating a commitment to education alongside her rising fame.

The move to California marked a turning point for the young performer. She spent those formative years auditioning and training, learning that acting felt like another form of dance to her. While many of her peers were just starting out, Sofia was already performing professionally, setting the stage for her eventual casting in major Disney productions. [edit]
