Sofia Raffaeli has rewritten the record books for Italian rhythmic gymnastics. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a World all-around gold, a European all-around medal, and an Olympic medal. Her seven World Cup all-around golds are an Italian record. She has been the Italian national all-around champion five consecutive times, from 2022 to 2026. Her ability to combine technical difficulty with artistic storytelling has set a new standard in the sport, inspiring a generation of young gymnasts in Italy and beyond.

At the World Championships, she earned all-around gold in 2022, all-around silver in 2023, and all-around bronze in 2025, plus apparatus golds in hoop, ball, and ribbon.
