Slim Jesus

Slim Jesus stands out in the drill rap landscape for his ability to achieve viral fame without the backing of a major record label. His 2015 hit "Drill Time" became a cultural touchstone for the genre, demonstrating the power of independent distribution in the digital age. Perhaps his most significant achievement is his refusal to sign with Diddy's Bad Boy Records in 2024, a bold move that preserved his artistic autonomy and earned him respect among purists who value independence in hip-hop.
