Skrillex holds the record for the most Grammy Awards won by an electronic dance music act, with nine wins. He was ranked #1 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs in 2012, the highest ranking ever for a dubstep producer at the time. He was named to BBC's Sound of 2012 list and featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2013. Rolling Stone has described him as "the most decorated producer in dubstep history" and credited him with breaking dubstep into the global mainstream.
